Hand and Arm Protection
Protective gloves are used in various sectors, including those handling chemicals, sharp objects, and abrasive materials. Examples include cut-resistant and chemical-resistant gloves. Different glove types provide the necessary level of protection depending on the work environment. Thermal gloves are suitable for cold environments, while electrician gloves are essential for high-voltage settings.
Work gloves are commonly made from materials like nitrile, latex, leather, or Kevlar. These materials are selected based on their resistance to specific workplace hazards. Even in industries without legal obligations for hand protection, gloves should be selected according to the relevant safety standards. Since hands and arms are among the most exposed parts of the body, they must be protected against potential risks. These shoes are made from leather, synthetic microfiber, or waterproof textile materials. These materials are commonly used in safety footwear.
